Come out and enjoy the 24rd Annual Greek Festival during the Labor Day weekend at the Emerald Coast Convention Center on Okaloosa Island.  Taste the various Greek foods, desserts, and drinks being served up throughout the festival.  Let your ears enjoy the sounds provided by the Kosta Kastanis Band, one of the hottest and most exciting Greek bands in the U.S. Let your eyes marvel at our local Greek dancers as they perform live for you our guests. We will have multiple local and national vendors showing and selling their crafts and goods.  There also will be a display of a Greek Orthodox Church for all guests to visit and learn about it.

  • Platters, Entrees, Sides

    1) Plato Platter -

    Chicken Oreganato, Pastitso, Spanakopita, Dolmathes, Potatoes, Tiropita,Small Greek Salad and Pita slices. A $24 Value!

     

    2) Mezedakia Plate -

    Tiropita, Spanakopita, Dolmathes, Manestra, Small Greek Salad, and Pita slices.

     

    3) Kotopoula - Chicken Oreganato -

    Baked chicken with Greek seasoning along with Potatoes, Greek Green Beans and Pita slices.

     

    4) Souvlaki Pork Plate-

    2 Shish-kabobs (pork) marinated and grilled served with potatoes, green beans, and Pita slices.

     

    Moussaka -

    Baked layers of baked eggplant, seasoned ground beef, potato, cheese and a rich cream sauce.

     

    Pastitso -

    “Greek Lasagna” alternated layers of macaroni, ground beef and grated cheese topped with a rich cream sauce.

     

    Dolmathes -

    Hand rolled grape leaves stuffed with seasoned ground beef and rice.

     

    Gyro -

    Pita bread stuffed with seasoned lamb/beef, lettuce, tomato, onion and Tzatziki Sauce.

     

    Chicken Gyro -

    Pita bread stuffed with seasoned chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion and Tzatziki Sauce.

     

    Kalamari -

    Lightly battered, seasoned squid ringlets deep fried until tender.

     

    Spanakopita-

    Tissue thin layers of fillo dough filled with a spinach and Greek feta cheese mixture and baked until crisp.

     

    Tiropita -

    Crisp fillo triangle stuffed with a blend of herbed Greek feta cheese.

     

     

    Greek Salata - Salad greens, tomato, cucumber, Greek olives, and feta cheese, served with greek dressing. Available in Small or Large

     

    Kids Meal -

    Age 10 and under only. A hot dog and chips.

     

    Greek Potatoes-

    Lightly seasoned new potatoes.

     

    Greek Fries -

    Fried potatoes seasoned with Greek seasoning.

    Chopped walnuts and almonds, layered between flaky fillo dough sheets, baked, then soaked in a sweet honey syrup.

    Scoop of vanilla ice cream with Baklava drizzled on top.

     

    Kourabiedes -

    A delicate shortbread cookie made with crushed roasted almonds, covered with powdered sugar.

From Interstate 10 east or west:

Exit interstate at Exit 56 (Crestview exit). After exiting interstate, take SR 85 South (traveling from the East. Then make a right onto SR 85 South upon exiting interstate. If traveling from the West make a right onto SR 85 South upon exiting interstate). Take SR 85 South to Hwy 123, Fort Walton Beach. Take Hwy 123 to SR 85 South. Take SR 85 South through Shalimar. SR 85 will turn into Eglin Parkway. Eglin Parkway will dead end at Hwy 98 East. Turn left onto Hwy 98 East when Eglin Parkway dead ends. Follow Hwy. 98 through downtown Fort Walton Beach across the Brooks Bridge; turn left at the second traffic light into the Emerald Coast Convention Center parking lot.
